Winona Concrete is a family owned and operated company.

Started by Ralph Meyer in 1958 after immigrating from Holland in 1952.  Ralph Started in a small shop on Station Rd. in Winona, but the business quickly out grew that location so in 1963 Winona Concrete moved to our current location in  Grimsby.

Never one to back down from a challenge Ralph transformed an abandoned precast plant into a clean and vibrant production facility.  Products that built our business included patio and sidewalk slabs, garden curbing, pig slats, septic tanks and cisterns.

Ralph's time at Winona saw three building expansions to increase the precast production area and many major changes in the industry including the introduction of plastics for use in sewer and septic systems.

In 1987 Ralph's Daughter and Son-in-Law (Joan & Bill) purchased the company.  Bill's farming heritage followed him to their newly acquired business and it wasn't long before the product focus spread to incorporate a wide range of water systems products, including pumps, farm irrigation, water filtration and a large selection of plumbing pipe & fittings.

All of these additions complimented the precast concrete manufacturing business.  When farm irrigation was installed precast catchbasins and valve boxes went too.  When cisterns were sold, they now were shipped with complete pump systems pre-installed, allowing for a efficient jobsite installation and water supply sooner to the house.

Now in the third generation, Winona Concrete & Pipe Products Ltd continues to move forward in improving current product lines and adding new products to serve an every growing market.

Our goal is to provide the right product for the job with the highest quality and to make that product as installer and user friendly as possible for years of dependable service.
